John and Rachael scouted all of the hot locations to visit dahntahn for #LUN17 and didn't stop to eat, so Guinness and chocolate covered cashews fueled our interviewing efforts. From stage announcements to Fifth Avenue Place, back to the TSE tent with the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership, we certainly covered some ground. Plus, the final trek to the 63rd floor, and then a few more, to reach the roof of the US Steel Building for the view of a lifetime.

12:32 Kyle and Kathleen Conway take over the podcast! Where did the OJ's go? The Original Jagoffs! May not be needed anymore after their commentary.

15:31 Post-performance interview with Joe Grushecky and he chats up his new LP at PledgeMusic.com plus dishes on some crazy on the road stories during his decades of performing.

19:40 Dave DiCello takes a break from the long lines inside of his Fifth Avenue gallery to reminisce the first podcast ever and the crazy photo requests he receives regularly.

25:59 Rich Fosbrink of the Theatre Historical Society of America invites you to cross the threshold to 1905 Pittsburgh and the forerunner of the modern movie theater, the first Nickelodeon.

Even if your name isn’t Mike and you don’t have a podcast to hijack, listen in and don’t be aggravated!

06:20 Kevin McMahon, President and CEO of the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust. When will he take his first improv class? Can we get him to sing? He came to the premiere of the new building before overseeing all things cultural for the day!

09:27    Some members of the awesome improv group, Player One, crack us up. What does the new building mean to them? And what would be their peep-show film title? The three guys and one gal combo talk about how improv exercises break the ice at any time, the importance of workshops and how both help a person come into their own. Their smiles and jumping from excitement are contagious!

24:08 Kristy and Jethro (Jeff) Nolen are two of the founders of the Arcade Theater, who host the hilarious Dinner with the Nolen’s each month. They beam with pride about how their improv concept grew and even how they met—expect some spot-on yinzer talk while they chat up meeting in Chicago.

33:31    Abby Fudor and Mike Rubino are the other half of the Arcade Comedy Theater founding team. These two were bursting at the seams to discuss the importance of completing the improv practice phrase 'Yes and'... Plus they rejoice at the end of construction!

43:55 Zack Keim is a fantastic young Pittsburgh musician on Get Hip Records. He has been sneaking into open stages since he was 16 (He’s 20 now!) What’s his peep show title? Hear his off the cuff Ya Jagoff song too!

#YaJagoffPodcast | Episode 93 | November 7, 2017

Oct 30, 2017

School is full of students eager to learn, and teachers scared to face the man in the trench coat who has been seen in the library, gym, and halls for decades. Leslie Gray and John Schalcosky lead two days of tours explaining history and hauntings, and Ya Jagoff! podcast has teacher testimonies, some band member reactions, the famous tour guides and an aggravated comedian…John Knight.

01:29 Opening: Rachael reluctantly probes John about the eerie tour he took part in with Fubar, Leslie Gray, John Schalcosky and more than a dozen other ‘ghoul’ students inside and outside of the supposed haunted Arsenal Middle School in Lawrenceville.  John heard some groans and saw some warning words on his orb app and still completed the tour.  Rachael, not so much.

05:59 Leslie Gray, Steel City Medium discusses her special gift of clairvoyance and how she is both the life of any party, and depended on through law enforcement for helping solve high profile crime and missing persons cases.

18:01 John Schalcosky, Founder – The Odd, Mysterious & Fascinating History of Pittsburgh talks being a Pittsburgh historian, Pittsburgh history centered around the paranormal, and how it is not to be feared, rather understood since it exists…YIKES!  Arsenal teachers past and present also share stories of spirits lingering around rooms in the school morning and night!

34:55     Dave, Jordan, Jake, Matt of the band FUBAR talk Youngwood jam sessions and Pittsburgh bars they have performed in.  Plus, the guys weigh in on what they would not want to know from the other side!
